_The West Virginia Council of Trout Unlimited's mission is to Conserve, Protect and Restore the state's trout populations and the watersheds they call home. We carry out that mission through:
  • Advocacy for native & wild fisheries
  • Research
  • Habitat improvement
  • Fingerling stocking & relocation
  • Youth & community education activities
  • Cooperation and partnerships with state & federal agencies, the private sector, and other conservation groups

Across the Mountain State, WVCTU's six active chapters and 1,300+ members form a vast and effective volunteer network.
