WVTU Adopt-a-Sign ProgramWe are excited about the opportunity to partner with WVOutdoor.com advertising as they have reached out to donate regular space to WV Trout Unlimited as a Public Service Announcement. Since we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization donations to WVTU are tax deductable. If you would like to adopt one of these billboard advertisements that will be placed somewhere in West Virginia between Huntington and Berkeley Springs, consider a charitable donation of $50 to WVTU to purchase one of these billboard covers. Each billboard will be in place for approximately one month or longer.
You can make a donation by clicking the PayPal link on the right of your screen or by sending a check payable to WV Trout Unlimited to: Bubba Holt, Treasurer 346 Captain Ames Drive Parkersburg, WV 26104. Make sure to note that the donation is for the WVTU Adopt-a-Sign Program. |

Tributaries of the Williams River, such as in this photo, had become void of trout from decades of acid rain and no natural buffering capacity in the surrounding geology. Trout Unlimited, through partnership with the WV DNR, has helped to bring native brook trout back into thriving populations in these watersheds.
Public Service Announcement Inquiries
The two samples you see (above) on this page are the 2012 versions of the WVTU Public Service Announcement advertising campaign. We are already working on the 2013 campaign and are interested in discussing any potential PSA work with your media company including radio spots. We all live downstream and cold, clean, fishable water is our most undervalued resource in West Virginia. Without clean headwaters you cannot have clean waters downstream, it's that simple. We are an organization of fishermen and women who have a common bond in that we love to catch trout, but more importantly we want to see the habitat that our state's trout call home preserved and restored.
If you are a media agent and would like more information on how you might include West Virginia Trout Unlimited as a tax deductible PSA partner please contact Philip Smith, Council Chair.
