- Save Our Streams
- The KVCTU initiated an active participation in the West Virginia Save-Our-Streams (SOS) Program in 2002. The program consists of conducting periodic stream and habitat assessments and filing the results with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. Tim Craddock, Citizen Coordinator for the SOS Program works with volunteer groups to train and equip them with the knowledge to conduct the assessments.
The KVCTU and other TU organizations in association with the local watershed associations have compiled the following schedule for this year. Everyone is welcome to participate and become trained in stream and habitat assessment skills. Certifications are available following training.
